Beschrijving

The Jensen Interceptor III Coupé is a luxury Grand Tourer produced between 1971 and 1976 by the British car manufacturer Jensen Motors. It was the Coupé version of the Interceptor III and the successor of the Interceptor II Coupé. The Interceptor III Coupé had a striking design with clean lines and a long hood. The car had a low, streamlined profile and a sporty appearance. The interior was spacious and comfortable, with leather upholstery and many luxury features. Under the hood, the Interceptor III Coupé had a 7.2-liter Chrysler V8 engine that produced about 330 horsepower and was connected to a three-speed automatic transmission. The car had rear-wheel drive and could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 7 seconds, with a top speed of about 210 km/h. The Jensen Interceptor III Coupé was an exclusive car and only 1,152 were produced before production was discontinued in 1976 due to financial problems at Jensen Motors. Today, the Interceptor III Coupé is still popular among car enthusiasts for its stylish design and powerful performance, and is a sought-after collector's item. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
