Chevrolet Corvair Convertible S 1964

The 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible S was a convertible version of the Corvair produced between 1962 and 1969. The Corvair Convertible S was the most sporty and powerful version of the Corvair series. The design of the 1964 Corvair Convertible S was sleek and sporty, with a streamlined body and sharp lines. The convertible top was electrically operated and provided an open driving experience when lowered. The car had a comfortable interior and seating for four. The Corvair series became known for its unique design, including the engine configuration at the rear of the car, and the handling of the cars was praised by car testers. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
