Daimler Coupé

From the Daimler offered here it was not possible to find out the correct model data. It is assumed that it is a unique customized Daimler based on a DK400 or a DE36. At that time models were often modified, often by the in-house coachbuilder Hooper. The integrated headlights are a striking detail in his designs. We see this on a few of his models, but not on the Coupé version offered here. Another fact is that only a few dozen cars per model are produced. A mysterious, but certainly very special and rare appearance. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
