The 1953 Lagonda DHC 2.6L was from the last production year of the Lagonda DHC 2.6L, a luxury convertible produced by the British car manufacturer Lagonda from 1949 to 1953. The car was equipped with a six-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.6 liters and delivered an output of 105 horsepower. The 1953 DHC 2.6L featured a number of technical improvements over earlier models, including improved brakes and suspension, which provided a smoother and better ride. The design of the car was still elegant and luxurious. It had a streamlined body with rounded lines and was equipped with luxurious details such as chrome finishes and leather upholstery in the interior. The Lagonda DHC 2.6L was an exclusive car. It was popular with the elite because of its luxurious appearance and excellent performance. Only 519 Lagonda 2.6L were produced and only 124 were the DHC. Today, a Lagonda DHC 2.6L is a very rare and sought after appearance. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
