Description

The Facel Vega II HK2 is a rare and highly sought after variant of the Facel Vega II, a French luxury sports car produced between 1961 and 1964. The HK2 variant of the Facel Vega II was produced starting in 1963 and featured a number of important improvements over the standard Facel Vega II. For example, the car was equipped with a new dashboard with a more modern layout and better readability, and the brakes were improved for better braking performance. Another important improvement of the HK2 was the introduction of the so-called "Torque-Tube" rear suspension, which improved the handling and stability of the car. The design of the Facel Vega II HK2, just like the standard Facel Vega II, was timeless and elegant, with a streamlined body and characteristic details such as the distinctive Facel Vega grille. The interior was very luxurious with high quality materials such as leather, wood and chrome. The Facel Vega II HK2 is a rare car, only about 25 were produced. This makes it one of the most sought after and valuable models of the Facel Vega. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
