The Peugeot 190 S is a Peugeot model produced between 1928 and 1931. The 190 was launched at the end of 1928 and sold alongside the lightweight Peugeot 5CV (itself based on the Quadrilette), a best-seller from the 1920s which it had to replace. The car was also small, but more traditional than the earlier models. The 190 adopted the 5CV's small four-cylinder engine of 695 cc, which produced 14 hp (10 kW) and could take the car to a top speed of 60 km/h. The intended successor, the Peugeot 201, was launched in 1929, although production of the 190 continued until 1931. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
