Beschrijving

The Lancia Appia Sedan is a compact sedan produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Lancia from 1953 to 1963. It was an important model for Lancia because it was the first car designed under the direction of Vittorio Jano, one of the most influential designers in the history of the automotive industry. The car had an advanced chassis with independent suspension and a Dion rear axle, which gave the car a smooth and stable ride. The interior of the Lancia Appia Sedan was elegant and refined, with high-quality materials and finishes that provided a luxurious driving experience. The car was also very safe for its time, with a robust body designed to protect passengers in the event of a collision. The Lancia Appia sedan was popular with compact car enthusiasts and was produced in several versions, including the Berlina, the Giardinetta (a station wagon) and the Furgoncino (a van). It was a car known for its reliability and durability and was often used as a taxi in Italy. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
