Specifications
Description

The Sunbeam Alpine Roadster with Hardtop was a variant of the Sunbeam Alpine sports car produced by the British manufacturer Sunbeam from 1959 to 1968. It was a two-seater roadster with a removable top and a matching hardtop that provided protection from rain and cold weather. The hardtop was an optional extra for the Sunbeam Alpine and was designed to fit over the car's standard soft top. The hardtop was attached with clamps and bolts and could be easily removed to return the car to an open roadster. The Sunbeam Alpine was available in several versions, including Series I, II, III and IV. The Series I and II had a 1.5-liter engine, while the Series III and IV had a 1.6-liter or 1.7-liter engine. The cars had a manual transmission and independent suspension. The Alpine was popular with sports car enthusiasts for its stylish appearance and sporty performance. The removable hardtop made the car more practical for everyday use and offered protection from the elements. It was also a popular car for racers and drivers, and was often seen on race tracks in the 60s. Today, the Sunbeam Alpine Roadster Hardtop is a sought-after classic car and a valuable addition to any car collection. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
