The Alfa Romeo Giulia GTC is a convertible produced between 1965 and 1966. It was a variation of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT and was produced in limited numbers. The Giulia GTC was equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 106 horsepower and had a top speed of approximately 175 km/h. It had a five-speed manual transmission and independent front and rear suspension. What distinguished the Giulia GTC from the Giulia Sprint GT was the body, which was adapted to convert the car into a convertible. It had a fabric roof that could be operated manually and a tail with a unique "Coda Tronca" style, which means "truncated tail" in Italian. Only 998 units of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTC were produced, making it a rare and sought-after car among collectors and car enthusiasts. The design of the Giulia GTC is characteristic of the 1960s, with its sleek profile and streamlined body, and it is often considered one of the most iconic Alfa Romeo convertibles of all time. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
