The Singer 10 was first introduced in 1912 by the British car manufacturer Singer Motor Company and was produced until 1924. It was a small car designed as an affordable means of transportation for the common man and was one of the first cars to be mass-produced. The Singer 10 was equipped with a small four-cylinder engine that produced about 10 horsepower and could reach a top speed of about 60 mph. It was a simple car with an open body and only basic functions such as a handbrake and accelerator. Despite its simple design, the Singer 10 was a popular car in its day because of its reliable performance and affordable price. The design of the Singer 10 changed over the years, but it always retained its characteristic style and appearance. The early models had a distinctive body with rounded fenders and a long, streamlined hood. Later models were slightly simpler in design, but still retained the elegance and style of the early models. Today, Singer 10s are considered rare and valuable classics. They have a rich history and are appreciated by classic car enthusiasts for their simple design, reliable performance and nostalgic appearance. In total, around 6.000 Singer 10s were produced, of which only a small number remain today, especially from the first production year of 1912. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
