Description

The Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto type 10503 is a classic sports car produced by Alfa Romeo between 1966 and 1969. The model is known for its attractive design, created by legendary coachbuilder Pininfarina, and its appearance in the 1967 movie "The Graduate". The Spider Duetto was powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with twin parent camshafts that produced 109 horsepower and a top speed of approximately 185 km/h. It was rear-wheel drive and had independent front and rear suspension. The striking design of the Spider Duetto can be recognized by the rounded back, the round taillights and the characteristic "Scalino" (Italian for "step") in the hood. It also had a folding fabric roof that could be operated manually. Alfa Romeo produced only 6,324 units of the Spider Duetto, making it a relatively rare car. Because of its attractive design and sporty performance, it is a sought-after collector's item among car enthusiasts and collectors. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
