Beschrijving

The Facel Vega III Convertible is a French luxury sports car produced between 1963 and 1964 by Facel Vega, a French manufacturer of high-end cars. It was a convertible version of the Facel Vega III, one of the last models produced by the company before it went bankrupt in 1964. The design of the Facel Vega III Convertible was timeless and elegant, with a streamlined body and characteristic details such as the distinctive Facel Vega grille. The top was electrically operated and could be opened or closed in a matter of seconds. The interior was very luxurious, with high quality materials such as leather, wood and chrome, and had room for four people. However, production of the Facel Vega III Convertible was relatively short due to high production costs and competition from other luxury sports cars. Only 192 convertibles were built, making it a very rare and valuable car. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
