Description

The Citroën 2CV is an iconic car produced by the French car manufacturer Citroën from 1948 to 1990. The 1955 version was an important year for the 2CV as it introduced some important updates and improvements. This Citroën 2CV has an air-cooled two-cylinder boxer engine and is connected to a manual transmission. The body of the 1955 2CV had some improvements compared to the earlier models. It had a new chassis with a stronger construction and an improved suspension for better handling. The roof could now be opened for ventilation and the windshield had a new design with a panoramic view. The 1955 Citroën 2CV is often considered a milestone year for the model, with important updates and improvements that contributed to the car's popularity and evolution. It remains an iconic car, appreciated for its unique design, simple technology and nostalgic charm. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
