The Jaguar XK8 Convertible 4.0 V8 is a luxury convertible produced by the British car manufacturer Jaguar from 1996 to 2006. The 1997 version was the first model year of the XK8.
The Jaguar XK8 Convertible is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 290 hp and 393 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and the car is rear-wheel drive. The XK8 has a top speed of around 240 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 7 seconds.
The exterior of the XK8 Convertible is elegant and sporty, with streamlined bodywork and an electric fabric convertible roof that opens and closes easily. The car also features distinctive Jaguar design cues such as the long bonnet and signature Jaguar grille.
The interior of the XK8 Convertible is comfortable, with leather upholstery and wood accents. The car is luxuriously equipped with, among other things, a premium audio system, air conditioning and electrically operated seats and windows.
The 1997 Jaguar XK8 Convertible 4.0 V8 was a popular luxury convertible due to its excellent performance, attractive design and high-quality finish. Today, the XK8 is regarded as a modern classic and is still popular with enthusiasts for its timeless design and reliable performance.
This copy is executed in dark blue metallic over black leather and was delivered new in Germany in 1997. The car has been in the Netherlands since 1999. The car has had many services and appears to be well maintained. For example, the convertible top was recently replaced. Furthermore, the car looks neat for its age, with minimal traces of use such as stone chips on the front bumper. The interior even looks very good. The Jaguar is very complete with the original booklets, two keys with remote controls, windshield and tonneau cover.
