The Record from producer Eysink is a rare appearance. In the Netherlands, only 19 of them are known that are registered. A Record in this beautiful, restored and moving condition is already completely unique! The moped has no documents yet. You can request a license plate number from the RDW. Eysink was a Dutch car, bicycle and motorcycle factory. D.H. (Dick) Eysink started the Amersfoort Rijwiel, Automobiel and Machinefabriek in 1886. His sons Menno and August built the first Dutch car in 1897. Initially the company was called Eysink Fabrieken NV, Amersfoort, and from 1951 to 1956 ARI (Amersfoortse Rijwiel Industrie). Grandson Dick Eysink, who had resigned from the company at the time due to a disagreement, opened a factory of motorized tandems and sporting mopeds in Soest in 1951, which he called Renata. He later bought back the Eysink brand name and produced mopeds under his own name. They were mopeds in the more luxurious and more expensive price range. The factory was closed a few years later because competition from Germany and Japan in particular became too great.
