The Aston Martin V8 is an iconic sports car that was first introduced in 1969 and produced until 1989. The car had a 5.3-liter V8 engine with an output of approximately 320 horsepower, mated to a five-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission. The design of the V8 was striking and stylish, with a long hood and short rear. The interior was luxurious, with leather upholstery and a wooden dashboard. The car also offered some modern features for the time, such as air conditioning and power windows. The V8 was a successful sports car and was praised for its performance and handling. The car was also made famous by the James Bond movie "The Living Daylights", in which Timothy Dalton played the role of Bond and drove an Aston Martin V8 Volante. Today, the Aston Martin V8 is a popular collector's item among classic car enthusiasts because of its unique design and the role it played in Aston Martin's history. A total of 4,021 of all versions have been produced. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
