There are all unique cars in the collection, but 2 copies of the MG B GT can be found. The MG B GT is a two-door sports Coupé produced by the British car manufacturer MG (Morris Garages) between 1965 and 1980. It was the successor of the popular MG A and was intended as a more modern and comfortable sports car. The MG B GT had a slim, streamlined body with an elongated bonnet and a short, sloping rear. It had a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produced between 95 and 110 horsepower, depending on the model. The GT version of the MG B was equipped with a fixed hardtop, which gave it a stiffer chassis and less wind noise in the interior. The interior was more spacious than the open convertible version and offered room for four people. The MG B GT was popular with car enthusiasts for its sporty character and driving pleasure. It was also relatively affordable compared to other sports cars of the time, making it a much sold model. Today the MG B GT is still appreciated as a classic sports car and is considered an iconic model in British motoring history. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
