Beschrijving

The Jaguar XJ-S 4.0 Convertible is a two-door convertible that was produced between 1988 and 1996. The car is an evolution of the Jaguar XJS, and was introduced as a replacement for the legendary Jaguar E-Type. The XJ-S was designed as a luxury grand tourer and was one of the fastest cars allowed on public roads at the time. The XJ-S 4.0 Convertible had a 4.0 liter six-cylinder petrol engine producing 223 horsepower and a top speed of 235 km/h. The car had an automatic transmission and was equipped with independent front and rear suspension. The XJ-S 4.0 Convertible was a luxurious car with a spacious and comfortable interior equipped with many luxury options. The car was praised for its flexible and powerful performance as well as its elegant and timeless design. The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us. You can inspect the cars on the viewing days for which you have to make a reservation through our ticketshop.
