The Peugeot 404 is a Pininfarina-designed mid-range car from the French manufacturer Peugeot, marketed alongside the 403 in 1960. The 404 was presented on May 11, 1960. It proved to be a very successful model and its solidity was second to none. This was also evident in its sporting successes: the 404 took victory in the East-African-Safari Rally in three consecutive years (1966, 1967, and 1968), having also won in 1963. The 404 offered here is a Cabriolet version. At the time, 10,389 of this model were produced, of which only a few remain today. This makes it a rather unique appearance. The car starts and drives, but has been stationary for some time. A service is advised before driving. To get a good idea of the lot we advise you to come to the viewing day.
