During his recent trip to South Africa, Russell Simmons visited the Maharishi Institute, in Johannesburg, a new school that is being piloted using consciousness-based education for the development of the whole student. This was part of Russell's continued efforts through his Diamond Empowerment Fund organization that aims to empower African youth through educational initiatives.
