My 68 originally had a vinyl top. I intended to do away with it when I get around to the body work. Found out there are pins and holes under the trim (which is still good). The pins can be easily removed, but how do you fill the holes? Just a quick poll, replace the vinyl top or go without? …

My 68 originally had a vinyl top. I intended to do away with it when I get around to the body work. Found out there are pins and holes under the trim (which is still good). The pins can be easily removed, but how do you fill the holes?

Just a quick poll, replace the vinyl top or go without?

Similarly, I'd like to eliminate all the side emblems. Should I keep the side marker lights or fill them? What about the lower moulding/trim (just above the rocker panels)?

I'm leaning towards keeping the trim and side marker lights, but removing all the rest of the emblems.
